Name: Emma Pritchard
Role: Business Manager
Can you give some background on your previous roles?
I spent nine years working for a management consultancy. Most recently, as Corporate Development Manager, I looked after European company acquisitions from start to finish including negotiations with targets and due diligence. I also applied my background in Occupational Psychology to the integration phase to maximise value for both parties.
How did you get involved with Cutover?
After taking a career break to have my second child, I was ready for a new challenge. I was in touch with recruiters specialising in helping organisations tap into the potential of women returning to work at all levels, and luckily for me, Cutover was too. The company and product were exciting, and the role was a great fit for me, as I could see how I could add real value as the business entered its next phase of growth.
What are your main responsibilities?
As Business Manager, my role is strategic but requires me to focus on the detail as well. Key areas of responsibility for me are People, Performance, Finance, Business Processes and Risk.
What do you think will be your biggest challenge at Cutover?
Cutover has been on an exciting journey and my biggest challenge will be supporting the business as it enters the next chapter of growth and maturity while ensuring we do not lose the unique culture of the company.
What are your main priorities going forward and what do you see in the future for Cutover?
My priorities are around setting out Cutover’s Strategic Objectives for the future, as well as putting in place a set of robust and efficient processes that are fit for purpose and have scalability. Clear governance and open communication will be key to ensuring everyone reaches their maximum potential.
